About Amy

Amy Farrell has been coaching since 1999, over the years she has coached everything from high school track and field athletes to masters runners and triathletes. Her athletes have won state championships on the track and qualified for world and national championships in triathlon.

As an athlete she is annually awarded the USAT Age Group All-American honor. In 2009 she was the 30-34 World Champion at the 70.3 distance and in 2014 she was the 35-39 Ironman World Champion as well as the second female amateur overall in Kona. She has been on the podium at the Ironman world championship 7 of the 9 times she has raced there. She was the overall female winner at Ironman Lake Placid in 2015 and 2017, Ironman North Carolina in 2016, and Ironman Santa Rosa in 2018.

Over the last few years Amy has grown to love all of her bikes-gravel, road, and mountain, participating in many gravel and road events in NY.

Join Amy to learn from a World Champion about training, competing and having fun in the sport of triathlon. The nuances of training, the art of the transition and nuts and bolts of each sport as they come together. Take this special opportunity to ask questions about your own training and racing and then join Amy on-site in June to swim and bike the course.

About Tiffany

Tiffany Wei is a Registered Dietitian, with main interests and specialization in sports nutrition and disordered eating/eating disorders. Her approach as a dietitian is to incorporate science-backed practices, and collaborate with clients to develop a sustainable and nourishing lifestyle for overall well-being. Growing up as a competitive figure skater, she recognizes the importance of nutrition not only in achieving health and performance goals at different levels, but also in maintaining a healthy relationship with body, mind, food, and movement.

· Foundations of macronutrients and components of an athlete’s plate

· Pre-race nutrition planning and preparing your body for race day

· Race day meal composition and scheduling, and refueling with hydration during race

Sean Luitjens is an OG veteran of the multisport world with his journey beginning back in '88. By day, he's a software guru and business leader, but he is always stoked to get outside and play be it swim, bike, run, or climb.
